What can you do in Lancaster this October?

Often when we think of October we think of ghosts, goblins and pumpkins, plus we reach for the fake cobwebs and dress up our Lancaster student accommodation for halloween parties.

While we certainly have spooktacular events to look forward to in Lancaster, if you’re not into halloween, Lancaster also has a lineup of other great events for you and your housemates to enjoy! Whether you are ready to get your fright on, or you prefer to sip on a pumpkin spice latte and savor the awesomeness of autumn. Below is a list of our top things to do this October just a stones throw away from your student accommodation at Lancaster university.

Lancaster University are holding a special lecture on the Climate Emergency.

19 October 2021, 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Your evening is sorted and better yet, it’s just a hop, skip and a jump from your lancaster student housing. Panellists from across the University, including Vice-Chancellor, Professor Andy Schofield, will consider what it means for the University to have declared a climate emergency and what actions are being taken, initiatives to educate future business leaders to include climate change insight in their knowledge set, and how the University is supporting its student body to engage with these issues.
